Finals night has been held and the 2011 Summer Darts season is now closed.

Results summary:

KO Cup Final: Congratulations to the winners Wickham Market Royal British Legion.

The results of the two competitions at Wickham RBL on Wednesday 20th July were:
Juniors: Adam Smith (Douglas Bader) bt Karl Williamson (WFC) in the final.
Capt/Vice: Derek Hockley & Ivan Sherman (Woodbridge Legion) bt Clive Smith & Nicky Marsh (Douglas Bader) in the final.

The Pot Luck doubles match on Wednesday 3rd August was won by C Shulver and E Marsh. The results can be found on the pot luck doubles page.

The triples were won by G Paternoster, W Baker and T Vincent. The results can be found on the Triples page.

Charities

Collections are taken at each match, and the money is used to support charities suggested by the players, and by the Rotary Club of Woodbridge Deben.

Charity donations for 2011 have been received by the charities agreed at the AGM - the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the EACH Treehouse Appeal.

A donation was given to Riding for the Disabled in 2010.

Expenses are limited to trophies to the participating teams, and miscellaneous items, which includes Dart Boards when needed. The Rotary Club of Woodbridge Deben donates running costs to the League.

The League

Competitions are as follows:

Championship Cup: Played each week. There are 14 games this season. Each match consists of 6 singles and 3 pairs. Singles consist of 501 x 3 legs, and pairs 501 x 3 legs.

Ladies Cup: Played each week. Consists of one singles match consisting of 401 x 3 legs.

Knockout Cup: Played according to a separate timetable. Each match consists of 6 singles and 3 pairs.

Singles competition: separate competitions for Men and Ladies
Pairs competition: separate competitions for Men and Ladies
Triples competition: open to all. Played on Finals Night, 601 x 3 legs.
Captains and Juniors matches. Separate competition for team captains and juniors.

Trophies

Trophies will be awarded to winners of competitions. No runners-up trophies will be awarded in 2011. The trophies list is published here.
